BACtrack Explained
BACtrack is the first handheld digital breathalyzer designed to securely monitor breath alcohol levels. This pocket-sized device takes a video of the user during the breath test to verify their identity, with a master video recorded during enrollment.
By integrating a smartphone app with the breathalyzer, BACtrack allows participants to easily and discreetly submit BAC tests at any time and from any location. After each test, the video verification and GPS location information are transmitted along with the BAC results.
Specialized Mouthpiece
BACtrack's mouthpiece was specifically designed for the criminal justice market to minimize the risk of test manipulation by participants.
Smallest Monitor in the Industry
This compact device allows participants to conduct monitoring discreetly, as it is small enough to fit in a front pocket. When prompted to submit a test, users can simply step aside for a few seconds to ensure privacy.
Facial Recognition
During enrollment, participants must take a breath test. This process records both video for facial recognition and the BAC level. The only way to bypass this method of testing is to not take the test at all.
Scheduled and Random Testing
Typically, there are 3 to 5 scheduled BAC tests each day. Additionally, the system is set to send random test requests alongside the scheduled ones.
