Free Resources for Families

You Bailed Them Out.Now What?

Getting out of jail is step one. What happens next matters just as much. Here are the free programs, services, and support networks we've put together for the people we bond out — and the families who love them.

"When I'm on the phone with a family at 2am, I'm not just thinking about the bond. I'm thinking about what happens after. These are the resources I actually recommend. — Chad"

Where Are You Right Now?

Here’s the order we walk families through on the phone. Six steps, a few buttons each.

  1. 1

    Bond

    Get them out

First things first. We answer 24/7.

  2. 2

    Medi-Cal

    Sign up today

Every day counts. Medi-Cal pays for detox and rehab, and coverage goes back to the 1st of the month you apply.

  3. 3

    Detox

    The first hurdle

Most rehabs and Christian homes won’t take anyone until they’ve detoxed. You can get detox now, even before Medi-Cal is approved.

  4. 4

Rehab or a Place to Stay

    Where they go next

Best case, a rehab that can take them right away. If there’s a wait, a free Christian home or sober living in the meantime.

  5. 5

    The Car

Get it out of the tow yard

Tow yards charge every day the car sits there. Handle it in the meantime.

  6. 6

    Staying on Track

Court dates and a new routine

Once they’re settled, keep it going.

“Swallow your pride on the free food. I know a lot of guys who are working hard and still falling behind. There are so many pantries on here that you can go to a different one on different days of the week. Do it consistently for a couple of months and it adds up to real money, and you’ll eat better than skipping meals to save a few bucks.

It’s right here in front of you. Use it.”
