How Long Release Takes at IRC
From Chad's experience, release from IRC usually takes around 8 hours after the bond is accepted. Six hours is about as fast as it gets, and about 1 in 5 releases take 10 to 12 hours because of lockdowns, shift changes, short staffing or paperwork problems. Now and then, it can take up to 24 hours.
