Before You Go

  • Call or check the website first. Hours change around holidays, and some sites close when it rains or gets very hot.
  • Bring a photo ID and something with your address if you have them. Some sites ask; many don’t. If you don’t have ID, call and ask. Don’t let it stop you.
  • Drive-thru or walk-up? Some sites are drive-thru only. Clear out your trunk or bring sturdy bags.
  • Go early. Popular pantries can have a line, and food is often first come, first served.
